Can You Adopt a Cat If You Live Alone?
Adopting a cat when you live alone is entirely possible and rewarding. Learn how to choose the right cat, prepare your home, and navigate the adoption.
Bubba is a charming 'Secret Admirer' who takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he'll shower you with affection. He's a level-headed companion who prefers to observe before diving in, but don't let that fool you – he's thinking of you and ready for purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time when the moment is right. This sweet senior is looking for a patient home where he can blossom at his own pace.
As an American Shorthair, Bubba is known for his adaptable and easygoing nature. These cats are typically calm and good-natured, making them wonderful companions for a variety of households. They are intelligent and enjoy interactive play, but are generally not overly demanding. Bubba's short coat requires minimal grooming, and his moderate shedding can be managed with weekly brushing. His energy and exercise needs are on the lower side, making him a perfect fit for a relaxed indoor lifestyle.
Bubba's ideal home is one that understands and respects his need for a gradual introduction. He would thrive with an individual or family who appreciates a quiet, loving presence and is prepared to offer him a comfortable, secure indoor environment. He is housetrained and comes with initial vaccinations, microchip, and has been tested for FIV/FeLV. Bubba is also bonded with his friend Emma, so we hope to find a home that can welcome both of these wonderful felines together.
