Pepe

Hi there, I'm Pepe! I am a sweet, albeit shy, young girl who is looking for a patient and loving home. It takes me a little while to feel comfortable in new surroundings and to truly let my personality shine, but once I do, I'm incredibly affectionate. I may not be the most cuddly kitten, but I absolutely adore a good chin scratch and will lean into your gentle pets. My bond with my mom, Adriane, is very strong; we sleep together constantly, and I look to her for guidance, so we absolutely must be adopted as a pair.

As an American Shorthair, I bring the wonderful traits of adaptability and a generally easy-going nature to any home. I get along well with dogs and children, showing no signs of being bothered by their presence. My short coat requires minimal grooming, and while I do shed moderately, regular brushing keeps it in check. My moderate energy level means I enjoy playtime but am also content to relax and observe my surroundings, especially from a cozy spot near my mom. I can be selective with other cats, finding overly pushy felines a bit off-putting.

My ideal home is one that understands the beauty of a shy cat blossoming with time and patience, and is ready to welcome both me and my mom, Adriane, into their family. A calm environment where I can gradually explore and feel secure would be perfect. With my vaccinations up-to-date and my microchip in place, I'm ready to embark on a new adventure with a family who appreciates a sweet, gentle cat (or two!) and will provide the love and understanding I need to thrive.
