Cat Losing Hair in Patches: Causes and Fixes
Is your cat losing hair in patches? Discover common causes, from stress to parasites, and expert fixes to help your feline friend recover.
Meet Theo, a handsome and resilient young cat with a heart full of affection and curiosity. Despite a rough start that included an eye removal surgery and treatment for Giardia, Theo's sweet personality and strength quickly emerged. He's a true goober, loving belly rubs and eskimo kisses after a good nap. Theo has an excellent temperament, is very well-behaved, and even allows his foster human to trim his claws while he snoozes. He enjoys being an indoor cat with occasional 'catio' time, finding joy in chasing wand toys and playing hide-and-ambush games.
As an American Shorthair, Theo embodies many desirable traits: he is known for being adaptable, good-natured, and generally healthy. While he navigates the world with monocular vision, he has cleverly adapted, showing a slight head shake to judge distance before pouncing or jumping. This breed is typically playful but not overly demanding, making them wonderful companions for various households. Theo is good with both dogs and cats, suggesting he could integrate well into a multi-pet family with proper introductions.
Theo is looking for a loving home where he can continue to thrive as an indoor cat, with opportunities for supervised outdoor enrichment like a catio. He would do well with a family that appreciates his playful spirit and can provide ample space for his acrobatics and interactive play. With continued bonding, gentle training, and slow exposure to new environments, Theo is sure to become a purrfect and cherished member of his forever family. His guardian is helping to rehome him, and a donation to Furry Friends Rescue is requested as an adoption fee.
