Binky

Meet Binky, a truly special girl who has blossomed in our care. Initially very timid after a difficult start, Binky has learned to trust and enjoy life's simple pleasures. She is a gentle and kind soul who adores affection, often gently pawing to encourage more pets. While she prefers not to be left alone for extended periods, she's also content to snooze comfortably on the couch while you're busy, demonstrating her well-mannered and potty-trained nature.

Rat Terriers are known for their intelligence, playful spirit, and loyalty, though Binky's past has made her a bit more reserved. She exhibits a moderate energy level, enjoying daily walks and mental stimulation. Her short coat requires low grooming with moderate shedding. Binky co-exists peacefully with other dogs, though she hasn't quite learned to play with them and prefers her space. She is best suited for a home with older children (over 10) who understand her need for a calm environment and gentle interactions, as sudden movements can startle her. She is not suitable for a home with cats.

Binky thrives in a quiet residential area where she can feel safe and secure, as busy or noisy environments can be overwhelming for her. She is looking for a patient and loving family who can continue to build her confidence and provide the stable, affectionate home she deserves. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her Rabies and DHPP vaccinations, ready to find her forever family.
