The 3-3-3 Rule for Rescue Dogs: Every Stage Explained
Understand the 3-3-3 Rule for Rescue Dogs: learn what to expect in the first 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months, and how to support your new dog.
Blossom is one of six delightful little girls, already brimming with personality at just eight weeks old. She is a bright, curious, and social sponge, eagerly soaking up every new sound, smell, and experience the world has to offer. Like her sisters, Blossom is ready to form deep bonds with a family who understands the joy and commitment of raising a puppy.
As a German Shepherd Dog and Belgian Malinois mix, Blossom is destined to be a thinking, active dog. This intelligent combination means she will thrive with consistent training, clear structure, and plenty of daily mental and physical exercise. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids, making her a versatile companion for a variety of family dynamics. She will grow into a confident, well-mannered partner with the right guidance.
Blossom is looking for a home ready to embrace the sweet, chaotic, and wonderful journey of puppyhood. Her ideal family will be prepared for a 10-12+ year commitment, including routine veterinary care, vaccinations, spay appointments, quality food, training classes, and ample time and patience. Due to her young age, she cannot be left alone for a standard 8-9 hour workday, requiring arrangements for care every four hours until she is at least eight months old to facilitate housebreaking and socialization.
