Can You Adopt a Cat on a Tight Budget?
Adopting a cat doesn't have to be expensive. With smart budgeting and the right resources, even those on a tight income can provide a loving, healthy home for a feline companion.
Bryn is a truly beautiful girl with a heart full of affection for everyone she meets. She thrives on human companionship, adoring snuggles in bed with her favorite person. Bryn has a clear preference for cooler weather, finding joy in laying in the snow and spending time outdoors when temperatures are low, though she's not a fan of the heat. She is also housetrained and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats.
As a Norwegian Elkhound, Bryn embodies the breed's intelligent and independent spirit. Elkhounds are known for their loyalty and affectionate nature towards their families, often forming strong bonds. They possess a thick double coat that requires moderate grooming, especially during their seasonal heavy shedding periods. Their moderate energy level means they enjoy regular activity and mental stimulation, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families.
Bryn is seeking a very specific forever home: one with a large, securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She also requires another dog her size to be her playmate and companion, ensuring she has an outlet for her social energy. An ideal family will appreciate her love for the outdoors in cool weather and be committed to providing the consistent exercise and companionship she needs to thrive. Please note, the rescue does not adopt to families with children under 5 or to renters.
