This handsome, smart, and playful two-year-old is an affectionate cuddle bug once he gets to know and trust you. Despite a challenging start, Chuck is incredibly treat-motivated and anxious to please, making him a joy to train. He loves going for walks, enthusiastically chasing balls, and settling in for a good cuddle session.

As a Labrador Retriever and Terrier mix, Chuck embodies the best of both worlds: the friendly, intelligent nature of a Lab combined with the spirited curiosity often found in Terriers. He has made remarkable progress in overcoming early life fears related to his vision restoration and now thrives with consistent guidance. Chuck gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small, and would be happy as an only dog or with a canine sibling to play with. His resilience and capacity for love are truly inspiring.

Chuck is looking for a patient and understanding home that can continue to support his journey. He needs careful, guided introductions to new people, but quickly warms up to become a devoted companion. He is fully housebroken, readily uses his crate, and is a calm car rider. An ideal home would offer a yard to explore and a family committed to continuing his positive reinforcement training.
