Chutney is a sweet and resilient girl currently residing at Oakland Animal Services. While her initial kennel environment might make her a little reserved, she blossoms into an affectionate and loyal companion once she feels safe and loved. She's known for her strong bond with people and her desire to be a cherished member of a family.

As an American Pit Bull Terrier, Chutney embodies many of the wonderful traits of her breed. She is intelligent, eager to please, and with proper guidance, can be incredibly well-behaved. Pit Bulls are often misunderstood, but they are typically very loving and good-natured, especially with children and other dogs, as Chutney has shown. She will thrive with consistent training and positive reinforcement.

Chutney is looking for an active home where she can receive plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. Daily walks, playtime in a secure yard, and engaging activities will keep her happy and healthy.
