Rescue Dog Peeing in the House: Causes and Fixes
Is your rescue dog peeing in the house? Learn common causes, a 30-day potty training plan, and expert fixes for house-soiling issues.
Meet Frosty, a gentle giant whose heart is as pure as his name. This sweet boy has overcome a difficult start, found as a stray with a broken leg and severely underweight. Thanks to dedicated rescue efforts and foster care, Frosty has blossomed into a lovable, laid-back companion. He is now fully healed, completely housebroken, leash trained, and crate trained, knowing basic commands like “sit” and “come.” Frosty is initially shy with new people but quickly warms up, especially for head scratches and the belly rubs he adores.
True to his Great Pyrenees heritage, Frosty is a protective and devoted companion, known for his calm and watchful nature. He enjoys lounging outdoors in cool weather but is equally content relaxing indoors. This breed typically has a thick double coat, requiring moderate grooming to prevent mats and manage their heavy, seasonal shedding. Great Pyrenees generally have a moderate energy level, needing daily walks or playtime to stay healthy and happy.
Frosty's ideal home is a quiet, peaceful environment where he can continue his favorite activity: being wonderfully lazy! He thrives with people who love to dish out cuddles and belly rubs, and a secure, visible 5-foot fence is essential for his safety. Frosty has an enormous capacity for love and snuggles and is ready to be your devoted companion and champion cuddler, bringing calm and affection to his forever family.
