Janie

Janie is an incredibly affectionate young dog who cherishes human connection and would happily be petted all day long. She has a sweet way of gazing dreamily into your eyes, clearly soaking up every bit of love. Because she loves people so much, Janie sometimes gets extra excited when greeting them and may jump up for enthusiastic face kisses. She is actively learning to keep all four paws on the ground, understanding that this brings her all the affection she desires. Janie simply wants to be close, loved, and reminded that she's a very good girl.

As a German Shepherd Dog, Janie is intelligent, sensitive, and deeply people-oriented. She forms strong bonds with her humans and thrives with regular companionship, structure, and gentle guidance. Like many of her breed, she feels most secure and happy when included in daily life rather than left alone for extended periods. She is housetrained and good with kids, making her a wonderful addition to an active family.

Janie would be happiest with a person or family who works from home or is around most of the day, and who enjoys an affectionate, interactive dog. When it comes to other dogs, she tends to do best with calm, tolerant companions, often male dogs around her size or larger, who don’t mind her enthusiastic, up-close play style. With her smarts and desire to please, Janie is ready to continue her training journey and become a cherished member of her forever home.
