Layla

Meet Layla, a sweet, affectionate, and playful Terrier mix whose tail wags most of the time! She is attentive, inquisitive, and incredibly easy to love. Layla is a quick learner, still retaining some charming puppy traits. She enjoys a variety of toys, especially braided ropes, Nylabones, and stuffless squeakies, and is perfectly happy to entertain herself or play with others. Layla thrives on companionship, loving to be around her people, whether trotting between her foster parents or napping on the couch watching TV.

As a Terrier mix, Layla possesses an intelligent and spirited nature. She walks well on a leash with a harness, showing excitement but no barking towards other dogs and children, and gently takes treats from kids. Her unique wire and soft fur coat with cute beard tufts didn't clump even in wet snow, suggesting moderate grooming needs. Layla is housetrained, understands a schedule, and is even learning to 'go poop' on command! She's smart, responsive to corrections, and quickly learning commands like sit, down, leave it, and come.
