Regret Adopting a Cat? How to Handle the Feeling
Feeling regret after adopting a cat is normal. Discover common causes, understand your cat's adjustment, and learn practical steps to cope and get support.
Lillie is a truly loving Great Pyrenees girl who adores affection and would happily spend her days by your side. She's a delightful blend of playful and relaxed, enjoying both indoor and outdoor time, though she prefers to have her people nearby. Lillie is crate trained and knows basic commands like "sit," "down," and "wait," demonstrating her intelligence and willingness to learn. She gets along well with other dogs, calmly ignoring the neighbor pups, and has a wonderful temperament with new people, even handling unexpected situations with grace.
As a Great Pyrenees, Lillie embodies the breed's classic gentle giant nature. They are known for their calm demeanor, loyalty, and a thick, soft coat that requires regular brushing to keep it healthy and manage shedding. While generally having a moderate energy level, Pyrs do enjoy their daily strolls and outdoor exploration in a secure yard. They are natural guardians, but Lillie keeps her barking to a minimum, only joining in for an occasional howl at passing trains or planes, which adds to her charming personality.
Lillie's ideal home is an active one where she will receive plenty of attention and affection. A secure, visible 4.5-foot fenced yard is essential for this independent girl, as invisible fencing will not contain her. She's content to relax in her yard and has no desire to escape. Lillie has a preference for dining solo and absolutely loves Peanut Butter Ritz Bits as treats. While she's still working on her house-training, her intelligence and desire to please suggest she'll master it with consistent guidance.
