Livy

Livy is a sweet and sensitive girl who takes a moment to warm up to new people and environments. Once she feels comfortable, she transforms into an affectionate companion, readily rolling over for delightful belly rubs. She is quite well-behaved, requiring a gentle approach to training as she is sensitive to stern voices, but her good manners mean little correction is needed. Livy also enjoys the company of other dogs, initially taking her time to assess them before engaging in playful romps.

As a Miniature Pinscher, Livy possesses a spirited and intelligent nature. Despite her compact size, she has a moderate energy level, enjoying daily walks and mental stimulation. Her short, sleek coat is easy to maintain, requiring minimal grooming, and she has a moderate shedding level. Livy is already crate trained, potty trained, and rides well in a vehicle, making her a wonderful travel companion. She walks well on a leash, though her natural prey drive might kick in if she spots a squirrel!

Livy is seeking a patient and understanding home that appreciates her gentle spirit and provides a calm environment. She would thrive with a family who understands the importance of positive reinforcement in training and can offer her consistent, moderate exercise, such as daily walks. Given her enjoyment of other canines, a home with another friendly dog could be a great fit, provided introductions are slow and positive.
