Meet Lucky, a true tripod cuddle-bug who has overcome a painful past to become a loving and laid-back companion. Despite undergoing a front limb amputation due to a car accident, Lucky is now thriving and cherishes her comfortable life in rescue. She adores lounging and snuggling on the couch with her humans, finding immense joy in warm baths and being brushed. Her affectionate nature and easygoing demeanor make her a delightful presence, always ready for a nap near her beloved people or an occasional burst of zoomies in the fresh air.

As a Great Pyrenees mix, Lucky possesses many of the breed's gentle and protective qualities, though she is surprisingly petite for a Pyr at around 70 lbs, which aids her mobility. Great Pyrenees typically have a thick, weather-resistant coat, requiring moderate grooming to manage shedding, which can be heavy, especially seasonally. While Pyrs are known for their calm indoor presence, they do benefit from regular, moderate exercise to stay healthy. Lucky walks well on a leash when needed and is fully house-trained, making her an adaptable companion.

Lucky would flourish in a quieter home environment where she can be the center of attention, though she is also good with other dogs, cats, and older children. Her ideal family will appreciate her calm disposition and provide a secure, visible fenced yard, as invisible fencing is not suitable for her breed.
