Can You Adopt a Cat If You Live Alone?
Adopting a cat when you live alone is entirely possible and rewarding. Learn how to choose the right cat, prepare your home, and navigate the adoption.
Maggie Moo is a true sweetheart, embodying a perfect balance of a relaxed couch potato and an eager adventurer. This gentle, low-riding girl's primary life goal is to be as close to her beloved humans as possible. Despite a past frightening incident where she was attacked by another dog, Maggie's trusting and affectionate spirit remains completely intact. She greets the world with kindness and a heart wide open, always ready to lean on you and remind you that you are her favorite person.
As an American Staffordshire Terrier and Rottweiler mix, Maggie inherits a combination of loyalty, strength, and a loving nature. AmStaffs are known for their courage and affection towards their families, while Rottweilers are devoted and protective. Maggie's moderate energy level means she enjoys car rides and adventures, but also thrives on being a cuddle companion at home. Her short coat requires low grooming and she has moderate shedding, making her relatively easy to maintain.
Maggie would truly thrive as the center of someone's world, ideally in a home where she can receive consistent love and attention. While she has done well with dogs in the past and loves her large foster brother, she would appreciate being the primary focus. She is good with kids and other dogs. Having completed heartworm treatment, she is now healthy, active, and ready for all of life's adventures, big or small. What Maggie desires most is simple: a safe home, a soft couch, and a human who will love her as fiercely as she loves them.
