Meet Rocky, a big-hearted boy who's ready to find his forever family! Rocky is a friendly and resilient dog who quickly makes friends with everyone he meets, including children and other dogs. He shines in social settings, as demonstrated by his excellent behavior at a recent adoption event. While he's generally a joy, he does have a quirky aversion to being picked up for car rides and barks at moving cars, but once inside, he settles down and rides like a dream.
As a Labrador Retriever, Rocky embodies many of the breed's beloved traits: he's affectionate, intelligent, and eager to please. His past experience living with children and other dogs highlights his adaptable and social nature, making him a wonderful companion for an active family. He's a loyal friend who will thrive in an environment where he feels secure and loved, even with his minor car-related anxieties.
Rocky is looking for a loving home that understands his unique quirks and is prepared to offer him the consistent care he deserves. A home with a yard where he can play and a family who enjoys daily walks or playtime would be ideal. He's been through a lot and is now healthy, happy, and ready to share a lifetime of love with you. Give this deserving boy a chance, and he'll be your best friend!
