Romeo is a sweet, happy, and quietly eager companion who is just beginning to discover the joys of being a beloved pet. Having spent many years as a stud dog, much of the world is new to him, which he approaches with an endearing curiosity. As a Poodle, Romeo is intelligent and generally eager to please, making him a rewarding dog to train with positive reinforcement. Poodles are known for their minimal shedding, but they do require regular grooming to maintain their coat and prevent matting; Romeo is still learning to enjoy grooming. His moderate energy level means he'll appreciate daily walks and engaging activities, but he's also content to relax by your side. He adapts beautifully to his one-eyed perspective, moving with confidence, and his resilience is truly inspiring.

Romeo would thrive in a calm, patient home that is ready to introduce him to new experiences slowly and with encouragement. Due to his small size and sensitive nature, a home without rough play or chaotic energy would be ideal. He is good with other dogs but needs a family who will cheer him on as he learns what it means to be a cherished companion.
