Miss Ruth is a sweet and gentle senior gal who adores attention and snuggles. She is very laid-back and low energy, preferring to relax at home after her daily sniff walk. Ruth has exceptional house manners and is completely housetrained, making her a perfect companion for a quiet home. While she gets along with other dogs, she prefers to be the alpha and isn't keen on sharing pets or food, making her an ideal candidate for an only-dog household where she can soak up all the love.

As a Great Pyrenees, Ruth embodies the breed's guardian instincts, though her current focus is on comfortable retirement. Great Pyrenees typically have thick double coats, requiring moderate grooming to manage heavy shedding. Despite her low energy, she enjoys her regular walks, which are important for her well-being. This breed is known for its calm demeanor, loyalty, and affectionate nature with its family, often forming strong bonds. Ruth is good with other dogs and older children (12+), but her preference for being the sole recipient of affection should be considered.

Ruth is looking for an easy-going household that can provide a calm environment, ideally far from fireworks, which she detests. She also gets car sick, so minimizing car travel would be best. A secure, visible 5-foot fenced yard is required for her safety, as invisible fencing is not suitable for her breed.
