Snow Bear

Snow Bear is a big, fluffy love-bug with a heart as soft as his fur. Despite a difficult start to life, he has retained his sweet spirit and gentle nature. He's happiest lounging in the sunshine, getting brushed, and hanging out with his dog friends. While he enjoys attention, he's a laid-back guy who's also perfectly content to relax nearby with an occasional ear rub. He's a bit of an independent spirit, knowing what 'no' means but often choosing to listen on his own terms.

As a Great Pyrenees, Snow Bear embodies the breed's characteristic calm demeanor and protective instincts. They are known for their intelligence and independence, often preferring to make their own decisions, which can sometimes be mistaken for stubbornness. His thick coat requires moderate grooming to keep it healthy and minimize shedding, especially during seasonal changes. Great Pyrenees are generally moderate in energy, enjoying leisurely strolls and ample outdoor time, but are not typically high-intensity exercise companions.

Snow Bear's ideal home would include a secure, visible 5-foot fenced yard where he can safely explore and soak up the sun. He would thrive with a patient and kind 'pyrent' or two who understand the breed's unique traits. A canine friend to pal around with would be a welcome addition, and his gentle nature indicates he'd do well in a calm, loving environment. He is house-trained and walks well on a leash, though he prefers to take care of business off-leash when given the opportunity.
