About Wyatt

Meet Wyatt, a truly sweet and gentle Great Pyrenees boy who is eagerly awaiting his forever family. Despite being found as a stray, Wyatt is a calm and easygoing companion, currently thriving in boarding while he waits for a loving home where he can continue to blossom. He's a patient soul, as demonstrated by his willingness to sit still for burr removal, and he has discovered the pure joy of rump scratches, which will have his tail wagging instantly. Wyatt is wonderful with children, greeting them with happy wags, and shows no interest in cats, making him a versatile addition to many households.

Great Pyrenees are renowned for their calm demeanor, gentle nature, and protective instincts. They are intelligent, independent thinkers, originally bred to guard livestock, which means they can be watchful and devoted companions. Wyatt embodies these traits, offering a loving presence to his family. While he is still learning leash manners, his easygoing personality suggests he will be a quick study with consistent, positive reinforcement training. His thick, beautiful coat, including an adorable 'angel kiss' spot, will require regular brushing to keep it healthy and minimize shedding.

Wyatt's ideal home is one with a securely fenced yard, preferably at least 5 feet high, where he can safely enjoy the outdoors. Due to his breed's guardian nature and size, experience with large breeds is a plus. He would thrive with a family committed to continuing his training and providing him with plenty of love and affection. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet, and calm companion who is good with kids and cats, Wyatt is ready to fill your home with joy and gentle presence.
