Zeeko

Zeeko is a friendly boy who is currently learning the joys of being a cherished family member. Having come from a situation where he lacked proper socialization and care, he is now discovering what it means to live indoors, enjoy soft beds, and have a consistent supply of food. He is good with other dogs and, despite a bit of initial nervousness, truly desires human affection and is slowly opening up to receiving love from his people.

As a Great Pyrenees, Zeeko possesses a gentle and calm demeanor, coupled with a natural protective instinct. These dogs are known for their intelligence and independence. While generally good-natured, they can be reserved with strangers and require consistent, positive reinforcement training. His medium coat will require moderate grooming, likely weekly brushing, to manage shedding, which can be seasonal and heavy. His energy level is moderate, meaning he will benefit from daily walks or playtime to keep him happy and healthy.

Zeeko is looking for a patient and understanding home that can continue to help him adjust to family life. An ideal family would be one experienced with large breeds, willing to provide continued socialization and gentle guidance. A home with other dogs would be a bonus, as he gets along well with canine companions.
