Welcome to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter, the largest animal care facility in northern New Mexico. Our mission is to serve lost, stray, abandoned, or injured animals, providing them with compassionate care and a path to a loving home. We primarily care for dogs and cats, facilitating adoptions and reuniting pets with their families. Through our dedicated programs, we also address pet overpopulation with low-cost spay/neuter services and promote humane education. Serving Santa Fe and the surrounding northern New Mexico community, we are committed to improving the lives of all animals.
