Gwenie

Gwenie is a sweet and playful Collie whose personality is truly blossoming. She enjoys engaging with her foster brother and thrives in the company of other active dogs. This friendly girl loves to give kisses and, while she knows to come on command, would benefit from some basic training to further her manners. Gwenie appreciates her quiet moments but is always happy to spend time with her foster family when encouraged. Her favorite treats are peanut butter and cheese, and she's recently decided she prefers sleeping on the floor with blankets near her family rather than in her kennel.

As a Collie, Gwenie possesses a moderate energy level, enjoying daily walks and playtime. She is crate trained and nearly housebroken, only barking when she needs to go potty. Gwenie is good with other dogs, but her sensitivity to loud noises and sudden movements means she would not do well in a household with young or boisterous children. She enjoys car rides, either settling down or gently licking your ears for attention. It's worth noting her quirky habit of drinking from the toilet, so keeping the lid closed might be a good idea!

A secure fenced yard is required for Gwenie to safely explore and play. She is looking for an active home where she will receive regular walks and have canine companions to share her joy with. After a period of adjustment, Gwenie promises to be a wonderful and loving addition to a family that understands her gentle nature and provides a calm, consistent environment.
