Oreo

Oreo is an incredibly affectionate and devoted young pup, happiest when she's right by your side. At 8.5 months old, she's still very much a baby, building confidence and soaking up all the love she can get. She loves to snuggle, whether tucked between your legs at a coffee shop, cozy in a bag, or nestled on the couch. Oreo enjoys engaging her hound instincts with snuffle mats, crunching on ice cubes, and showering her humans with kisses. Her energy is a delightful moderate puppy mix; she can be playful and bouncy but also settles down wonderfully.

As an Australian Shepherd mix, Oreo is intelligent and eager to please, thriving with consistent training and clear guidance. She's currently working on leash manners, building confidence around loud noises, and understanding food boundaries. Australian Shepherds are known for their loyalty and devotion, making them excellent companions. While she's recovering from a leg injury, she's enjoying low-impact activities, proving her resilience and sweet nature.

Oreo would flourish in a home where someone desires a loyal, devoted shadow and best friend. She adores people and attention. Given her preference for being the center of attention and potential for food guarding, she might do best as the only dog in the home. However, she could also thrive with an experienced adopter committed to providing structure and training in a multi-dog household.
