Byram Animal Rescue Kindness Squad (BARKS) is a dedicated, all-volunteer, non-profit organization established in 1973. Our mission is to provide essential veterinary care, safe housing, and loving permanent placements for stray and abandoned cats and dogs. We primarily serve Byram Township, New Jersey, and the surrounding areas, working in association with the Byram Pound and utilizing foster homes and local kennels to care for our animals. We warmly invite you to meet our adoptable pets by appointment or at our scheduled adoption events.
