Chatham Animal Rescue & Education (CARE) is dedicated to promoting the health and safety of dogs and cats within Chatham County, NC. Through a network of foster caregivers, CARE provides loving, stable homes for homeless animals, preparing them for adoption into permanent families. The organization collaborates with the Chatham County Animal Shelter to save lives, manages local feral cat colonies, and offers valuable educational resources to the community. Additionally, CARE operates Lillie's Fund, a targeted program that subsidizes spay/neuter surgeries for pets owned by lower-income families in the area.
