Golden Gate Basset Rescue is dedicated to the welfare of purebred Basset Hounds. Our mission is to ensure that no Basset Hound suffers in a shelter or from neglect, providing a safe haven for owner-surrendered dogs and those pulled from shelters. We primarily serve Northern California, offering these beloved hounds a second chance at a loving home. While our focus is breed-specific, we are committed to the well-being of all animals and will cross-post for other breed rescues when possible.
