Greater California German Shepherd Rescue is a dedicated, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to the welfare of German Shepherd Dogs. Our mission is to rescue these magnificent animals from vulnerable situations and place them into permanent, loving homes with qualified owners. We proudly serve the communities around Modesto, Merced, Greater Sacramento, and South Lake Tahoe, extending our reach occasionally to parts of the North and East San Francisco Bay Area, and a portion of Nevada near Lake Tahoe. We focus on local adoptions to ensure every German Shepherd in our region finds a deserving family.
