The Marshmallow Foundation is dedicated to providing a safe haven for animals in Detroit Lakes, MN, and the surrounding region. Our mission is to offer a second chance to every animal, operating as a low-euthanasia shelter where pets, including numerous cats and dogs, receive compassionate care without time limits until they find their forever homes. We also proudly collaborate with local service dog training programs and police departments, facilitating the placement of shelter dogs into vital community roles. We rely on public support to continue our life-saving work.
