North Texas Basset Hound Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of basset hounds. Their mission involves preventing cruelty, rescuing homeless or mistreated basset hounds, providing essential medical care including spay/neuter, heartworm treatment, and micro-chipping, and facilitating their adoption into loving, permanent homes. They also manage a Special Needs Fund for rehabilitating ill or injured animals. Serving the Fort Worth and Dallas areas, their reach extends across North Texas, from Abilene to Waco, and Longview to the Oklahoma border.
