North Texas Basset Hound Rescue is a dedicated, all-volunteer organization committed to the welfare of basset hounds. Our mission is to prevent cruelty, support animal welfare by rescuing homeless, unwanted, or mistreated basset hounds, provide essential medical care including spaying/neutering, and place them in permanent, loving homes. We primarily serve the Fort Worth and Dallas areas, extending our reach to many shelters across North Texas, from Abilene to Waco and Longview to the Oklahoma border.
