The Rutherford County Humane Society is dedicated to strengthening the bond between humans and companion animals, focusing on the welfare of dogs and cats within Rutherford County. Our primary mission is to promote and facilitate spay/neuter initiatives to prevent the birth and subsequent euthanasia of unwanted animals. We also actively work to prevent cruelty and abuse through comprehensive humane education. While our adoption center primarily houses cats, we serve the entire Rutherford County community with a commitment to animal well-being and responsible pet ownership.
