The Rutherford County Humane Society is dedicated to strengthening the bond between humans and companion animals while promoting the welfare of dogs and cats in Rutherford County. Our primary mission involves advocating for and assisting with spay/neuter initiatives to prevent overpopulation and euthanasia. We also actively work to prevent animal cruelty and abuse through comprehensive humane education. While serving both dogs and cats, our small adoption center specifically provides care and shelter for felines awaiting their forever homes.
Adopting a cat doesn't have to be expensive. With smart budgeting and the right resources, even those on a tight income can provide a loving, healthy home for a feline companion.
