Our mission involves providing comprehensive animal rescue, regulation, and humane care. We offer safe, temporary shelter, veterinary services, and compassionate care for approximately 7,000 stray, abandoned, and injured animals annually, including various domestic animals. As Santa Cruz County's only full-service, open-admission animal shelter, we proudly serve the County of Santa Cruz, City of Santa Cruz, City of Scotts Valley, and the City of Watsonville, striving to reunite lost pets and facilitate new adoptions within our community.
