Second Chance Companions is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to animal welfare in Southwest Washington and the Portland Metro area. Their mission encompasses rescuing and rehoming dogs, cats, and occasionally other small animals through a network of foster homes. They also provide a low-cost spay/neuter program to combat pet overpopulation and offer a referral service for private owners. Additionally, the organization supports the community by providing pet food to Meals on Wheels recipients and local food banks, and offers emergency medical assistance when funds are available.
