Second Chance Companions is a dedicated, all-volunteer organization committed to animal welfare in Southwest Washington and the Portland Metro area. Our mission focuses on finding loving homes for dogs, cats, and sometimes other small animals through a network of foster homes. We also provide a valuable referral service, screening potential adopters for private owners, and offer education to encourage pet retention. Additionally, we combat pet overpopulation with a low-cost spay/neuter program and support our community by providing pet food to Meals on Wheels recipients, seniors, and local food banks. When funds allow, we extend emergency medical assistance to animals in need.
