Canine CellMates is dedicated to transforming the lives of both rescued shelter dogs and inmates within the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. Through an intensive 16-week training program, inmates provide care and positive reinforcement to dogs, preparing them for adoption and a forever home. This unique initiative not only saves dogs from euthanasia by making them highly adoptable but also equips inmates with valuable job skills, fosters responsibility, and significantly reduces recidivism rates within the Fulton County community.
